BabyCare ("the App", "we") values your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account info: email, name (required).
• Baby info: name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, allergens.
• Activity data: sleep, feeding, diaper changes, growth measurements.
• Device data: push token (FCM/APNs), app version, language.

2. How We Use Data

• To provide the service (display logs, reports, AI suggestions).
• To send notifications (routine reminders, AI reports, crisis alerts).
• To improve service quality (anonymous analytics).

3. AI Services

We use OpenAI and Google Gemini for AI suggestions. Baby names and sensitive data are masked with placeholders (e.g., "{{BabyName}}") before being sent. Prompts are not used for training.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat — premium subscription management.
• Firebase / APNs — push notifications.
• OpenAI / Google Gemini — AI generation.

6. Your Rights

7. Children's Data

The app is used by adult parents. Baby data is entered by the parent — children do not directly use the app.
